Many of us growing up with classic Trek on our minds had a single resource to flesh out the technical aspects of the future world we saw:  the Star Trek Technical Manual by Franz Joseph.  Unfortunately, when drawings the props, he did not have any at hand to actually reference, so his plans were inaccurate in shape, dimension and detailing.  Still, it was better than nothing, and in that spirit, we show below the Communicator page, complete with its operational specifications...
