Private Page

One of our main goals has been to make all possible information on Wah Chang's communicators openly available, and not just for now but for generations to come.  And in that spirit we include here photographs copyrighted by John Long in 2007-8 that he at one time had posted publicly on his website SaucersOverHollywood.com.  The replica included in some of the shots below is one of his licensed props.

Since many of the photos show unique details not seen in any other images, we hope we'll be permitted by Mr. Long to archive in perpetuity on this limited access page these historically relevant pics of his.

Epsilon

The three photos below (plus two more lower in the "Epsilon and Zeta" section) are the only known images ever publicly shown of the insides of Epsilon, other than of course the famous "barrel" shot in Patterns of Force, where this very comm is being reassembled by Spock.

By the way, from studying that barrel shot, it's our strong guess that the cardboard now seen backing Epsilon's moire pattern was not originally installed by Wah but put there by Mr. Jein during his renovation of the prop.
